Delete Your Account
Last updated: September 25, 2026
You can delete your Habitform account and its cloud data yourself, right in the app, at any time. If you can't get into the app, you can request deletion by email.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Habitform and go to Me and tap your profile to open Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account is deleted immediately.
Request deletion by email
Email jamesnvd@gmail.com from the address on the account, with the subject "Delete my Habitform account". We'll delete it and confirm back to you within 30 days (usually much sooner).
What gets deleted
- Your profile (username, name, bio, photo) and login.
- Everything synced to the cloud: activities, sessions, projects and their images, schedules, timers, notes and photos/videos attached to sessions.
- Your posts, comments, kudos, follows, buddy links, and notifications.
- Projects you shared (removed for the people they were shared with), and events you host.
- Your connection to Strava (the access token is revoked with Strava) and any activities it imported.
- Clubs you own: if other members exist, ownership passes to the longest-standing admin or member; a club with no other members is deleted.
What is kept
- Data stored only on your device (Habitform is local-first) stays on your device; delete the app to remove it.
- Safety reports are retained with your identity detached, as described in our child safety standards, because they must be preserved for legal reasons.
- Backups are overwritten on the provider's normal cycle, typically within 30 days.
