Terms of Service

Last updated: September 22, 2026

Plain-language summary: don't abuse the service, don't rely on it for anything medical or safety-critical, understand it's provided "as is" by an individual developer, and you can stop using it (or delete your account) any time. The full terms below are what actually governs.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Habitform (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

2. Who runs this

Habitform is developed and operated by James Nevada, an individual developer, not a corporation. References to "we"/"us" throughout these terms mean the same.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

When using Habitform, you agree not to:

Photos and text may be checked by automated moderation before they're published, and anyone can report content or block a user from within the App. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without notice where the violation is serious.

5. Content you share

You own what you post (sessions, photos, notes, comments). By sharing something inside the App — with followers, a club, or publicly if you choose — you give other users of that feature permission to view it as the feature intends. You can delete your own content, and doing so removes it from view (subject to the same reasonable processing time noted in the Privacy Policy for backend deletion).

6. Connected services (Strava, Apple Watch, and others)

Features that connect to a third-party service (currently Strava, plus Apple's own Watch/Screen Time frameworks) are optional, governed additionally by that service's own terms, and can be disconnected at any time from Settings. We aren't responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services themselves.

7. Not medical, fitness, or professional advice

Habitform is a time-tracking and habit tool. Nothing in the App — goal suggestions, streaks, insights, or anything else — is medical, psychological, or professional advice, and it isn't a substitute for the judgment of a qualified professional. Use your own judgment, especially for anything fitness- or health-adjacent.

8. "As is," no warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost — keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Habitform and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount (if any) you paid to use it in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to the App or these terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may update these terms as the App changes; material changes will update the date above and, where appropriate, be announced in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate access for violating these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights that can't be waived.
